Rupert Grint first made his fortune on the big screen as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films which left him with a huge amount of money, estimated around £24 million, of which he has used some to secure himself a property empire.
The daily mail has revealed that the star has set up his own business to be able to manage the revenue generated from his properties which are worth millions, which he has called Eevil Plan Properties.
The property empire is worth £12.9 million and is situated within Hertfordshire and all within a 20 mile radius. He purchased three properties near his home town which have a total combined value of £9.2 million. There are another three homes which are in his mother and father’s names which are worth £3.7 million; his father is co director at Eevil Plan Properties. Rupert’s home is worth a cool £5.4 million and is an 18th century mansion in the same area. It has five reception rooms, six bedrooms with ensuites and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools situated within 22 acres.
Rupert also purchased his parents a mansion worth £3.35 million and they have a lake and a putting green in their back garden! Not only are his parent’s part of this property empire they also run a boutique hotel which they charge up to £150 a night for. On top of this they own two large farmhouses of which Eevil Properties Plans will manage the revenue for.
Just like any other landlord, Rupert will require a landlord insurance policy to ensure that he is protected in case any damage occurs to his properties that are being let out. He has a fantastic size portfolio and he has found the best way of managing the money generated.
